Cb Nordic Stadium is a short, flat loop for cross-country skiing, about 0.3 miles from Crested Butte, Colorado. The route is easy, with no elevation gain, and it sits at roughly 9,000 feet, making it a convenient stop for skiers already in town. The loop is a simple 0.28-mile circuit, with the high point at 9,015 feet and the low at 9,002 feet. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.14 miles in, with a grade of 6 percent, but the rest of the route stays nearly flat. Winter is the natural season for this kind of skiing. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Crested Butte show January highs around 26°F with lows near -7°F, while June runs about 70°F by day and 34°F at night.
