Teocalli is a cross-country ski route in Colorado, about 0.7 miles long, set on private land with protection in the Crested Butte area. The route rises from about 8,846 feet to 8,855 feet, a total gain of roughly 10 feet, and the elevation change is nearly flat. That makes it a short outing for skiers who want to get out on snow without a long climb. Winter is the season for skiing here. Typical averages from the Crested Butte weather station, just a few hundred feet away, show January highs around 26°F and lows near -7°F, while June and July bring highs in the low to mid 70s and lows in the 40s. The station sits at nearly the same elevation as the route, so its figures should be a fair guide for conditions on the trail. Town Ranch is less than a quarter mile away, and the Beginner Track for mountain biking is about 0.3 miles off. Climbers can find The Hone Stone and The Joint Boulder roughly a mile away, and Crested Butte RV Resort is about 1.8 miles from the route.
