17th Avenue is a cross-country ski route in the Boulder Ranger District of the Arapaho and Roosevelt National Forests in Colorado, about 1.3 miles long and rated easy. It runs between roughly 9,350 and 9,520 feet, with a total climb of 128 feet and a steeper stretch of about 26% grade at around 0.6 miles in. Winter is the natural season for skiing here. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show January highs near 29°F with lows around 12°F, while September and October bring milder highs in the upper 40s and 47°F, and fewer wet days. Porcupine Park Loop and Ja Sure are both about 0.1 mile away. Eldora, a climbing area, is about 2 miles off, and West Magnolia campground is about 3.6 miles away.
