Wesley is a cross-country ski route in Colorado, about 2.4 miles from the town of Maryvale. The route is short, covering about 0.2 miles, and it rises from 8,705 feet to 8,842 feet, a total gain of 94 feet. The climb is steep in places, with a 12% grade at about 0.08 miles into the route. Winter is the natural season for this kind of skiing. Typical averages from the nearby Fraser weather station, which sits a few hundred feet lower, show January highs around 31°F with lows near -1°F, while June and July run in the low to mid 70s. The station's figures are for a nearby town, so temperatures on the route may run slightly cooler. Several other ski routes lie close by. Double Pole is about 0.2 miles away and Lactic Grande about 0.3 miles. For paddling, Ranch Creek is roughly 1.5 miles off, and Idlewild Campground is about 4 miles away.
