Artificial/Man-made Walls is a climbing area in California, about 1.7 miles from the town of Thyle. It is a man-made climbing site, and the name points to its constructed nature rather than natural rock. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in San Luis Obispo show May highs around 72°F and October highs around 78°F, with almost no wet days in July and August. That station sits a few hundred feet lower than the walls, so temperatures here run a little cooler. Several trails start close by. The Roller Coaster/Tunnel 10 Truck Trail is about 0.6 miles away, and the Quercus Trail and Panorama Trail are each within a mile. For more climbing, Toprope Boulder is about 3.6 miles off.
