P-Wall is a climbing area in Bunnell Open Space, a city-managed parcel in California. It sits among a cluster of other climbing areas and trails, with Bishop Peak and the Bishop Peak Trail about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is a mix of trad, mixed and sport routes, with 39 routes in total. The grades range from 5.6 to 5.11+, with the median around 5.10a. Among the named routes are Carrot Top at 5.6 and Flinging Moss at the Molson Belay at 5.11+, the latter a sport route first climbed in 1985 by Rick Harlan, Mark Perko and Pete Gulyash. For comfortable weather, late summer into early fall is the sweet spot. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run highs around 80°F in July and August, with only a day or two of rain in the dry stretch from June through September. That station sits several hundred feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. The Bishop Peak Trail and the Felsman Loop Trail are both within a quarter mile. Cerro Alto campground is about 9 miles away, and Morro Bay State Park Campground is roughly 10 miles off.
