Morro Bay Harbor is a climbing area in California, set within Coleman Park on city land. It sits about a mile from Morro Bay State Park Campground and less than half a mile from Breakwater Boulder, another climbing spot. The harbor's climbing is compact, with two routes on record: Ishmael, a sport climb rated 5.10d, and a boulder problem graded V2. The sport route is the only one named, and the boulder is the only other style listed. The weather here stays mild year-round, with typical averages from a nearby weather station showing highs around 65 to 72°F and almost no wet days from June through October. Winter brings highs in the mid-60s and about seven wet days a month. Nearby, Morro Bay State Park Campground is under a mile away, and Black Hill Trail and Pipeline Trail are both about 2 miles off. El Dorado, another climbing area, is roughly 2.8 miles away.
