Findley Campground sits alongside Jackson Meadow Reservoir in the Sierraville Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest in California. It is a Forest Service site operated by Nevada Irrigation District in cooperation with the Tahoe National Forest, and it makes a convenient base for boating, fishing, hiking and hunting in the surrounding area. The campground has flush toilets, and a fee is charged for stays. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Bowman Dam weather station show July highs around 82°F with lows near 54°F, while winter highs sit in the mid-40s. Several other spots are close by. Fir Top and Woodcamp campgrounds are each within a third of a mile. Jackson Meadow Reservoir is about 1.8 miles away, and the Pacific Crest Trail passes about 2 miles off.
