Pass Creek Annex is a Forest Service campground in the Sierraville Ranger District of Tahoe National Forest, California, about 0.1 mile from Pass Creek Campground. It sits on the northeast shore of Jackson Meadow Reservoir and serves as overflow for the main Pass Creek site. The annex offers a wide range of activities, including boating, canoeing, water skiing, swimming, fishing, hiking and hunting. A fee is charged for recreation here, according to USDA Forest Service records. Summer is the warmest stretch. Typical averages from the nearby Bowman Dam weather station, which sits about 700 feet lower than the annex, show July highs around 82°F with lows near 54°F, while winter highs stay in the mid-40s. Pass Creek Campground is just 0.1 mile away, and the Pass Creek Loop hike and East Meadow campground are each about 0.3 mile off. The Pacific Crest Trail passes within 0.4 mile.
