Forgotten Wall, Control Tower & Up The Creek Wall is a climbing area in Arizona's Coronado National Forest, within the Santa Catalina Ranger District. It is managed by the Forest Service, and its climbing routes sit among a cluster of other boulders and walls in the same district, including Andy Cook Wall and the King and Knight areas. The climbing here is a mix of sport and trad, with 30 sport routes and 14 trad routes among the 44 listed. The grades run from 5.8- up to 5.12-, with a median of 5.10+. Some of the named routes include Fleuger Chimney (a 5.8- trad), Omission Statement (a 5.10b/c sport) and Air Worthy (a 5.12- sport). Spring and fall are the most comfortable seasons. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Mt Lemmon Willow Canyon put May highs around 71°F and October highs around 68°F, with winter highs near 50°F and lows around freezing. That station sits about 1,280 feet below the climbing area, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. Nearby, Gordon Hirabayashi Campground is about a mile away for camping, and the Bug Springs mountain biking trail is under a mile off. The Sycamore Reservoir Trail #39 is about 1.3 miles away, and Molino Basin Group offers camping about 1.9 miles away.
