Cutchemine Trail is a 2.66-mile hike in Lake Guntersville State Park in Alabama, managed by State Park and Recreation. The trail is an out-and-back route that reaches a high point of 654 feet, with a low of 594 feet, and the steepest stretch comes at about 2.5 miles in, where the grade reaches 11 percent. The total elevation gain is 109 feet. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show October highs around 73°F with lows near 53°F, and April is similar at about 72°F by day and 50°F at night. Summer runs hotter, with July highs near 89°F. The trail is rated moderate. Bikes and horses are not allowed. The Cutchenmine Trail lies about 1.3 miles away, and the Guntersville Roof climbing area and the Tom Bevill Alternate Trail are each about 1.4 miles off.
