Duke

Duke is a ghost town in Fort Bend County, Texas, situated west of Arcola near the BNSF Railway and close to Houston Southwest Airport. Little remains of the former settlement today, and as of 2014 the site could no longer be reached by any public road, making a visit effectively impossible for most travelers.

Given the lack of public access, Duke holds interest mainly as a historical footnote rather than a destination. Those curious about Fort Bend County's vanished communities will find more accessible options elsewhere in the region.
