Cirque of the Moon is a climbing area in the Popo Agie Wilderness, part of the Washakie Ranger District of Shoshone National Forest in Wyoming. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits within designated wilderness. The climbing here is alpine, with 11 routes and one boulder problem. The YDS grades run from 5.9 up to 5.12-, with a median of 5.10. Moonquakes is the hardest route at 5.12-, and Bo Mambo and The Last Resort are the easiest at 5.9. The boulder problem, listed as V1-2, is the only one on the list. Several other climbing areas and hikes lie within a few miles.
