Domestic Violence Wall is a climbing area in the Powder River Ranger District of Bighorn National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Runaway Truck Ramp, Cheese Roof and Grand Parade all about 0.1 mile away. The area has seven routes, six of them sport and one trad. Grades run from 5.10a up to 5.12d, with Life's A Scream at 5.11c/d and Male Basher at 5.12d among the standouts. Whiff of Sisyphus is the trad route, a 5.10a first ascent by Stan Price. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Tensleep put July highs around 88°F and lows near 57°F, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and regular snow days from December through February. That station sits about 1,400 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures here run cooler. Leigh Creek Campground is 1.5 miles away, and Tensleep Creek offers paddling about 2.8 miles off. Boulder Park Campground and the Salt Lick Trail are both within about 5 miles.
