Circus Wall is a sport climbing area in the Powder River Ranger District of Bighorn National Forest in Wyoming, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among several other climbing areas, with The Ice Plant, Raven Wall and Wall of Denial all about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all sport, and the routes run from 5.8 up to 5.12d. Lucky Bozo is the easiest at 5.8, and Circus In My Pants is the hardest at 5.12d. The median grade is 5.11b. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Billy Creek show July highs around 86°F with lows near 54°F, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and regular snow days from November through March. That station sits about 1,450 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures on the rock run cooler. Leigh Creek Campground is about 1.8 miles away, and Tensleep Creek offers paddling about 3 miles off. Boulder Park Campground and the Salt Lick Trail are both within about 4 miles.
