Sidewalk is a 3-mile out-and-back hike in Wyoming's Bridger-Teton National Forest, on the Jackson Ranger District. It rises about 260 feet from the Cache Creek Trailhead, with the trail's low point at 6,431 feet and the high point at 6,717 feet. The trail is managed by the Forest Service and has a natural surface. Horses and bikes are both allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. July typically brings highs around 79°F and lows near 41°F, based on typical averages from the nearby Jackson weather station. The trail is open from about May 1 through October 31. Cache Creek Snow, a cross-country skiing area, sits just 0.1 mile away, and the Hagen Tr and Woods Canyon hikes are each about 0.2 mile off. For a longer trip, the Jackson Hole climbing area is about 1.1 mile away.
