Greenline is a short, rolling out-and-back mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The climb starts at about 1,154 feet and reaches a high point of 1,309 feet, with a total gain of 447 feet over the 1.2-mile round trip. The steepest stretch comes early, at about 0.05 miles in, with a 16% grade. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days a month. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Greenline Climbing and Greenline Tie are both about half a mile away. The Crestline Trail and Capitol Peak are within a mile for hikers.
