Greenline is a short, out-and-back mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The climb starts at about 894 feet and reaches a high point of 912 feet, with a total elevation gain of 406 feet over the course of the 1.4-mile round trip. The steepest stretch comes at about 0.44 miles in, with a grade of 8 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days a month. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Greenline Climbing lies just 0.3 miles away, and the Little Larch Mountain routes, including the Out of the Woods Tie and the Easy route, are within a mile. For paddling, Sherman Creek is about 1.5 miles off.
