Greenline is a short mountain biking route in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. It sits about half a mile from the Greenline Climbing trail, and the whole area is within easy reach of the Divide Trail South and the Little Larch Mountain - Short Stack Segment. The route is an out-and-back of about a mile, with a total climb of about 411 feet. The steepest stretch comes early on, around 0.17 miles in, with a grade of about 13 percent. The high point is roughly 1155 feet, and the low point is about 977 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on about 20 days a month. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Nearby, Capitol Peak offers a hike about a mile away, and Sherman Creek, a canoeing spot, is about 2 miles off.
