Greenline is a short, steady mountain biking climb in Washington, managed by the State Department of Natural Resources. The route is an out-and-back that starts and ends at about 905 feet, with a high point of 977 feet and a total elevation gain of 183 feet over 0.5 miles. The climb is gentle, with the steepest stretch at about 6% grade near the start. Summer is the most comfortable time to ride. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Olympia show July and August highs around 78°F with only about five wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-40s and rain on roughly 20 days a month. That station sits well below the route, so temperatures on the climb run cooler. Greenline Climbing lies just 0.2 miles away, and the Little Larch Mountain - Out of the Woods Tie and Little Larch Mountain - Middle Segment are both within a mile. For paddling, Sherman Creek is about 1.7 miles off.
