Corral Mountain
About
Corral Mountain is a summit in Utah County, Utah, on Forest Service land in the Pleasant Grove Ranger District of the Uinta-Wasatch-Cache National Forest. The nearest town is Ironton, about 4 miles away, which makes the peak a reasonable target for a day in the high country above Utah County. The summit sits within a ranger district that covers a wide stretch of the forest, so rules set at the district level apply here. Several other destinations lie close by. Boardman Spring is about a mile away, and the Provo Peak Trail starts in the same vicinity. Rock Canyon campground is roughly 3 miles off, and the Threshold climbing area is a little farther, at about 3.4 miles.
