Sleepy Hollow is a bouldering area in Oregon's Mt. Hood National Forest, within the Hood River Ranger District. The Forest Service manages the land, and the area sits close to several other climbing spots and trails, making it a compact destination for a short session on the rocks. The climbing here is all bouldering, with 14 routes spread across the V0+ to V9 range. The easiest, Apex Predator, is a V0+ boulder, and the hardest, Fonted, is a V9. Cody's Sister and Royce's Mom are both V4. The boulders at Lost Lake Boulders and Oasis Boulders lie just 0.1 mile away, so it's easy to pair them with a visit here. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station at Parkdale, which sits well below the boulders, show July highs around 80°F with only about two wet days in the month, while winter brings highs in the upper 30s and rain on roughly half the days. Hikers can head to the Old Skyline Trail #655, about 0.2 mile away, or the Lake Branch Cascades Trail #618A, about 0.9 mile away. For an overnight stay, Lost Lake Campground is about 1.3 miles off.
