Quirky Combat Wall is a climbing area in the Hood River Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. It sits among a cluster of climbing and hiking destinations, with Pete's Pile and (2) Schoolroom Cracks both about 0.1 mile away. The climbing here is all trad, with seven routes ranging from 5.9 to 5.11a. Quixotic Karate is the easiest at 5.9, and Qatari Ardah is the hardest at 5.11a. Most of the routes were first ascended by Yannick Gingras and his climbing partners between August 2020 and September 2021. Summer is the most comfortable time to climb. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter brings highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. Tamanawas Falls is a hike about 0.2 mile away, and Cloud Cap Saddle campground is about 0.3 mile off. Sherwood campground is roughly 0.8 mile away, and the East Fork Hood River offers canoeing about 1.4 miles from the wall.
