Cloud Cap Saddle is a Forest Service campground in the Hood River Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. It sits among a cluster of trails and climbing areas, with Tamanawas Falls and Pete's Pile climbers trail both about 0.1 mile away. The site has vault toilets, and a fee is charged for use. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from the nearby Government Camp weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. Pete's Pile and (2) Schoolroom Cracks are climbing areas within a quarter mile. Sherwood campground is about half a mile away, and Nottingham campground is about 2.4 miles off.
