Walker Creek is a 4-mile out-and-back hike in the McKenzie River Ranger District of the Willamette National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated moderate, with a one-way climb of about 550 feet from a starting elevation of roughly 2,928 feet to a high point of about 3,051 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows horses. Bikes are not permitted. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July and August highs around 86°F with lows near 50°F, while winter highs sit in the low 40s.
