Pansy Lake is a moderate hike of about 3.8 miles in the Bull of the Woods Wilderness, part of the Clackamas River Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest in Oregon. The Forest Service manages the land, and the nearest town is Breitenbush Hot Springs, about 10.5 miles away. The trail is an out-and-back that gains about 1,479 feet over the course of the trip, with the steepest stretch at about 1.4 miles in, where the grade reaches 21%. The route starts at roughly 3,667 feet and climbs to about 4,554 feet at the high point. Dickey Lake Trail and Dickey Lake both lie about 0.8 miles from the start, and Bull of the Woods is about 1.1 miles away. For paddling, Hot Springs Fork is about 2.7 miles off.
