Tree Climbing at Silver Falls is the only U.S. tour operator with government-permitted access to guide climbs in 200–300 ft old-growth trees within Oregon State Parks, and the only destination offering daily tree climbs and overnight camping in giant old-growth trees. The company, started in 2021 after 2–3 years of permitting work with Oregon State Parks, operates from Silver Falls State Park in Sublimity. Half-day introductory climbs (4 hours, $225) begin with practice on a smaller tree at the parking lot before a 5–15 minute hike to the main climbing tree. Sunset climbs (4–6 hours, $250) include night rappelling and headlamp climbing after watching sunset from the canopy, with up to 1.25 hours of hiking to a secluded tree. A 2.5-day tree climbing course ($995) teaches independent climbing, equipment, harnesses, ascension methods, and line-setting techniques, customizable to participants' needs. Summer kid camps (ages 7–13, July 20–24, 2026, $600) combine tree climbing with ecology education, hiking, waterfall exploration, slack-lining, tree yoga, and hammock napping, with an overnight tree-camping option including meals.
