Niagara Falls is an easy out-and-back hike of about 2 miles in the Hebo Ranger District of the Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail rises about 430 feet one way, with the high point at roughly 1,369 feet and the low at about 914 feet, and the steepest section comes at about 0.7 miles, where the grade reaches 16%. Bikes are allowed on the natural-surface trail. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from the nearby Cloverdale weather station show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the low 50s and rain on more than half the days. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the route run cooler. Niagara Creek, a canoeing spot about a mile away, makes a good pairing. Rocky Bend Group Campground is about 2 miles off, and Alder Glen Recreation Site and South Lake Dispersed Camp are both within about 4.6 miles.
