Little Acorn Woman is an easy out-and-back hike of about 2.6 miles in the Siskiyou Mountains Ranger District of the Rogue River-Siskiyou National Forests in southern Oregon. The trail rises from a low point of about 3,057 feet to a high of about 3,285 feet, with the steepest stretch near the start at about 22% grade. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is on natural surface. The most comfortable stretch for a visit runs from June through October, when typical averages from a nearby weather station in Ashland show highs in the upper 70s to low 80s and only a few wet days a month. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the hike run cooler. The trail is open from June 1 to October 31. Bikes and horses are not allowed, and the route is not accessible. Sq Lakes campground and Summit Lake Trail #926 are both within a mile. Acorn Woman Peak Lookout and Maple Dell are about 1.8 miles away.
