Jimerson is a 10-mile out-and-back hike in the Sisters Ranger District of Deschutes National Forest in Oregon, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is rated hard, with a total climb of about 517 feet and a steepest stretch of about 7% at the 2-mile mark. The route starts at roughly 3,418 feet and reaches a high point of about 3,430 feet, with the low point at about 3,260 feet. The trail surface is natural, and both horses and bikes are allowed. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Sisters show July highs around 86°F with lows near 43°F, while September cools to highs around 76°F.
