Collarbone Alley is a moderate out-and-back hike in the Central Coast Ranger District-ODNRA of Siuslaw National Forest in Oregon. The trail is about 1.8 miles long, with a one-way climb of roughly 450 feet, and the round trip adds up to about 1,200 feet of elevation gain and loss. The low point sits at about 969 feet, and the high at about 1,447 feet. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Corvallis show July and August highs around 82 to 83°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-40s and rain on most days. That station sits well below the trail, so temperatures on the higher part of the route run cooler. Several other short hikes start within a quarter mile, including Mohawk, Carl's Adventure and Root Down. Marys Peak Campground is about 4.3 miles away, and the Marys River offers paddling about 4.7 miles off.
