Camp Creek Trail is an easy out-and-back hike in the Zigzag Ranger District of Mt. Hood National Forest, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about 1.6 miles long, and the round trip covers roughly 3.2 miles with a total elevation gain of about 680 feet. The climb is steepest near the 0.6-mile mark, where the grade reaches about 12 percent. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Government Camp show July and August highs around 70°F with only about four wet days a month, while winter months bring highs in the mid-30s and rain on most days. The trail sits close to two other hikes, Timberline to Town Trail #756 and Skiway Trail #755B, both about 0.1 mile away. Still Creek campground is about a mile off, and Alpine Campground is about 2.4 miles away.
