Denominator is a bouldering area in North Carolina, about 1.4 miles from the town of Dixon. It sits among a cluster of other climbing spots, with Decepticon Boulder, Snake Jam Boulder and Old Folks Home all about 0.1 mile away. The Egg is also close by, and the Ridgeline Trail lies roughly 0.9 mile off. The climbing here is all bouldering, with five routes spread across the area. The grades run from V0- to V3-4, with Numerator at the top end. The boulders are the main draw, and the routes are short, so a visit can be a quick session on a single crag. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Gastonia show October highs around 74°F with lows near 51°F, and April is similar at about 74°F by day and 50°F at night. Summer is hot, with July highs averaging about 91°F. For a change from the rocks, the Ridgeline Trail is close by, and Clarks Creek Trail and South Fork Crowders Creek are within a few miles.
