The c. Moe (closure) to Harvest Moon climbing area sits in New York, about a mile from the community of Lake Minnewaska. It is one of several named sections of the area, and it links to the b. Gelsa to Moe (closure) and d. Harvest Moon to the End climbing areas, which lie within a few tenths of a mile. The area holds 47 routes, all but one of which are traditional, with grades ranging from 5.2 to 5.11a. The easiest is Spic and Span at 5.2, and the hardest is Raven and the Cat at 5.11a. The median grade is 5.8-. For timing, late spring through early fall is the most comfortable stretch. Typical averages from the nearby Mohonk Lake weather station run from highs around 71°F in May to about 83°F in July, with September easing back to the low 70s. The Millbrook Ridge Trail and the Steel Bridge Boulders are both within half a mile. The Old Minnewaska Trail and King's Lane are about a mile away.
