Bike Trail Boulder is a bouldering area on County of Putnam land in New York, about 3.4 miles from the Hudson Valley Greenway Trail (Brewster Village) and 3.3 miles from the Diesel Boulder climbing area. The land is managed by the county, and the boulders sit among a cluster of nearby trails, making it an easy addition to a longer outing in the area. The climbing is all bouldering, and there are three routes, all rated V0 through V3-4. The Local is the easiest at V0, Dr. Wormhat is V1, and Cyclist is the hardest, at V3-4. All were first ascended by David Warnez in 2020. For timing, late spring and early fall are the most comfortable. Typical averages from a nearby weather station run to highs around 66°F in May and 70°F in September, with July the warmest at about 78°F. Winters are cold, with January highs near 33°F. The closest trails are the Squirrel Trail, 0.3 miles away, and the Leaf Trail, 0.6 miles away. Paddlers can reach the East Branch Croton River about 8.4 miles off.
