The Maybrook Trailway - Hiking - Putnam Trailway to Hopewell Junction is a 14.6-mile point-to-point hike on the Appalachian National Scenic Trail in New York, running from the Putnam Trailway to Hopewell Junction. The route is rated hard, with a total elevation gain of 483 feet and a total loss of 979 feet. It rises to about 758 feet before descending again, with the steepest stretch at about 6.1 miles. Bicycles are allowed on this route, so riders can take it as well as hikers. The most comfortable stretch is late spring and early fall.
