Winsor Ridge is a hard hike in the Pecos Wilderness, part of the Pecos-Las Vegas Ranger District of the Santa Fe National Forest in northern New Mexico. The route is an out-and-back that climbs from about 8,276 feet to about 10,245 feet, with a total elevation gain of 2,004 feet over roughly 14 miles. The trail is on natural surface and is open to horses. Bikes are not allowed. The Forest Service manages the land, and the trip runs from June 1 to September 30. The ridge sits among several other destinations. Dockweiler and the Pecos River hikes are both within half a mile, and Panchuela campground is about 0.5 miles away. Cathedral Rock, a climbing area, is about 9 miles off.
