North Baldy Trail #8 is a short, easy out-and-back hike in the Magdalena Ranger District of Cibola National Forest in New Mexico, managed by the Forest Service. The trail is about half a mile long, with a total elevation gain of about 113 feet, and it climbs from roughly 9,630 feet to about 9,733 feet. The route is a quick walk that fits easily into a longer day in the area. Hop Canyon lies about 1.5 miles away, and Forest 190C Road is about 1.6 miles off.
