Meadow Trail is a short, easy hike in New Mexico, about 0.6 miles from the town of Forest Park. The trail is an out-and-back route of about 1.8 miles, with a one-way climb of 178 feet from a low point of 6,810 feet to a high of 6,932 feet. Late spring and early fall are the most comfortable times to go. Typical averages from the nearby Sandia Park weather station show May highs around 73°F and September highs around 77°F, with lows in the low to mid 40s. Several other trails start within a tenth of a mile, including Jonesey's Jaunt, Abbey Alley Trail and Juniper Spur Trail. For climbing, Ranger Station Wall is about 3.4 miles away.
