Dry Fork is a 2.3-mile out-and-back hike in the Columbine-Hondo Wilderness, part of the Questa Ranger District of Carson National Forest in northern New Mexico. The trail rises from about 9,831 feet to about 10,948 feet, a climb of roughly 1,100 feet, and is rated moderate. The Forest Service manages the land, and the route is open year-round. The trail is natural-surfaced and allows both horses and bikes, so it works for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. The climb is a steady one, and the high point sits just over 1,100 feet above the low end of the route. Cow Lake lies about 0.4 miles away, and Gavilan Canyon is about 1.1 miles off. For an overnight stay, Columbine campground is about 3.4 miles away, and Goose Lake Fishing is about 3.1 miles away.
