Willams Lake is an easy, out-and-back hike of about 1.6 miles in the Questa Ranger District of Carson National Forest in northern New Mexico. The trail rises about 337 feet from a low point of 10,769 feet to a high of 11,125 feet, and it is managed by the Forest Service. The route is natural-surfaced and does not allow bikes. The hike is open from March 15 to November 15, and the surrounding area offers plenty to pair it with. Wheeler Peak and Old Mike Peak both sit about a mile away, and Wheeler Summit is just beyond them. Twining campground is about 2 miles off for an overnight stay.
