Refrigerator Wall is a climbing area in Nevada's Rainbow Mountain Wilderness, managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Red Rock/Sloan Field Office. It sits within the wilderness, on land the BLM oversees, and its nearest neighbors are other climbing areas just a short distance away. Spring and fall bring the most comfortable conditions. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show May highs around 80°F and October highs near 75°F, while July and August average highs in the mid-90s. That station sits about 850 feet lower, so temperatures on the wall run cooler. The area has 12 routes, mostly traditional climbs with a single sport route. Grades range from 5.9 to 5.12b. Among the named routes are Pork Soda at 5.9, Breakaway at 5.10c/d and Kisses Don't Lie at 5.12b. Icebox Canyon and Sunnyside Crags are climbing areas about 0.1 mile away, and Lost Creek Trail lies about a mile off. For an overnight stay, Red Rock Canyon Campground is roughly 6 miles away.
