Pot Belly Boulders is a bouldering area on Bureau of Land Management land in Nevada, within the Sierra Front Field Office. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Pig Rock Area and Little Shop of Horrors each about 0.2 miles away and Contra Canyon Lower Wall about 0.6 miles off. The boulders here hold seven routes, all rated on the V scale from V1 to V10. The easiest is Monkey See, Mountain Do at V1, and the hardest is Neoplastic at V10. Pain is a V5. The routes are all bouldering, so there is no rope climbing to plan for. For comfortable weather, late spring and early fall are the sweet spots. Typical averages from the nearby Sutcliffe weather station, which sits about 840 feet lower than the boulders, show May highs around 69°F and September highs around 78°F. July and August run hotter, with highs in the upper 80s. Other climbing is close by. Contra Canyon Towers is about 0.7 miles away, and Cowpie Boulder is about 1.8 miles off.
