Horseshoe Wall is a climbing area in the Rainbow Mountain Wilderness, on land managed by the Bureau of Land Management's Red Rock/Sloan Field Office in Nevada. The surrounding wilderness and BLM field office make this a backcountry destination rather than a developed recreation area. Summer is the most comfortable time to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show July highs around 79°F with lows near 52°F, while winter highs sit in the mid-40s. That station sits about 1,500 feet lower than the wall, so temperatures up high run cooler. Several other climbing areas lie within a short distance. Lower East Side is about 0.1 mile away, Aeolian Wall about 0.2 mile, and Cactus Flower Tower Summit and Silly Patch Boulders each about 0.4 mile. For a hike, N Oak Creek Canyon is roughly 0.7 mile away.
