Box Canyon is a climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land within the Red Rock/Sloan Field Office in Nevada. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Water World just 0.2 miles away and Rodeo Wall about 1.6 miles off. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to visit. Typical averages from a nearby weather station show April highs around 70°F and October highs around 75°F, while July and August average in the mid-90s. Other climbing areas close by include La Madre Range at 2.6 miles and Right (North) Wall at 2.7 miles. For a hike, Lone Mountain Loop is 3.8 miles away, and Red Rock Canyon Campground offers camping about 6.9 miles from the canyon.
