Cheap Beer Crag is a sport climbing area in Lone Mountain Park, on county land in Nevada. It sits among a cluster of climbing spots, with Urban Crag about 0.1 mile away and Suburban Crag and Lone Mountain each about 0.2 mile off. The name hints at the style of the routes, which run from 5.7 up to 5.10c, with most around 5.10b. Spring and fall are the most comfortable times to climb. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Las Vegas show April highs around 78°F and October highs around 81°F, while July averages climb to about 104°F.
