Hanson Creek is a short, easy hike in the Santa Rosa Ranger District of the Humboldt-Toiyabe National Forest in Nevada, about 4.7 miles from the town of Paradise Valley. The trail is an out-and-back of about 1.2 miles, with a one-way climb of 403 feet from a low point of about 5,905 feet to a high of about 6,327 feet. The trail is natural-surfaced and open to both horses and bikes, according to the USDA Forest Service's trail records. That makes it a flexible option for riders and pack animals as well as hikers. Summit Trail and Lamance Creek Trail both lie within about half a mile, and Little Cottonwood Creek is about 1.5 miles away. For paddling, Big Cottonwood Creek is roughly 8.7 miles off.
