Warm Up Ridge Area is a bouldering climbing area on Bureau of Land Management land in Montana, within the Butte Field Office. It is a compact, short-distance destination, with several named climbing areas clustered within a tenth of a mile of one another, including Hidden Area, Hidden Boulder and Entrance Gully. The routes are all boulders, and the area is best suited to those who prefer climbing on rock rather than on ropes. The climbing here runs from V0 to V5, with Adam's Wall at V5 being the hardest of the five routes. The rest are V0, and Adam's Arete is V3. The area is a straightforward stop for a day of bouldering. Summer is the most comfortable time to go. Typical averages from a nearby weather station in Butte put July highs around 81°F with lows near 46°F, and June and September are close behind at about 70°F and 69°F. For more time on the trail, Lower Rader Creek Road is a mountain biking route about 2 miles away. Toll Mountain Campground, roughly 4 miles off, offers a place to stay overnight, and Big Pipestone Creek, about 4 miles away, is a paddling option.
