Upper Ramshorn Lake is a moderate out-and-back hike in Montana's Gallatin Wildlife Management Area, within the Bozeman Ranger District of Custer Gallatin National Forest. The trail is managed by State Fish and Wildlife and runs about 3.6 miles round trip, with a total elevation gain of 445 feet from a low point of 8,089 feet to a high of 8,557 feet. The route is natural-surface and allows horses, and bikes are not permitted. It is open year-round, so it works for a short outing at any time of year. The Gallatin Divide hike lies about a mile away, and the Tom Miner Divide mountain biking route is about 1.2 miles off. The Ramshorn Lake hike is roughly 1.6 miles away, and Tom Miner Campground is about 3.2 miles away.
