Miller Ridge is a hard hike in the Libby Ranger District of Montana's Kootenai National Forest, about 8 miles from the town of Libby. The route is an out-and-back that climbs from a low point of about 3,142 feet to a high of about 5,381 feet, with a total elevation gain of roughly 2,849 feet. The trail is natural-surface and allows bikes, so it works for hikers and riders alike. It's a long, steep day, and the climb is one way, so plan for about 8 miles of ascent and descent.
